Program Director 21st CCLC After School Program

The primary purpose of the 21st CCLC After School Program Director is to ensure the development and implementation of a high-quality expanded learning program for students and their families. The Program Director is responsible for the overall communication, leadership, partnership, hiring, local budgeting, monitoring and evaluation of program requirements. 

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Establish and maintain working relationships with students, program staff, administration, families, and community partners
  • Ensure all 21st CCLC grant requirements are followed (data collection, program hours, transportation services, emergency preparedness plans, staffing, etc.)
  • Meet regularly with school day teachers to align 21st CCLC programming options
  • Provide on-boarding procedures for new staff and volunteers
  • Coordinate regularly scheduled staff meetings and professional development to support the goals and objectives of the 21st CCLC program
  • Submit all required reports to the district office
  • Maintain and organize all required records
  • Develop and provide consistent and relevant family engagement activities that build on the goals of the program
  • Develop quarterly plans that integrate enrichment and parental involvement
  • Guide site coordinator in the creation of quarterly “units” 
  • Recruit and retain 21st CCLC staff and students
  • Manage social media and communications of the 21st CCLC program
  • Minimum required on-site program hours Monday through Friday, 3:30 to 6:30

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to pass an Arkansas Child Maltreatment Check
  • Daily attendance is required
  • Experience in budgeting is preferred

Rate of Pay: $50 per hour
